We’re excited to spotlight an inspiring moment for TLW Construction: on Friday, July 26, 2024, our team joined the Grand Opening of Polaris Academy in Mesa, AZ. A remarkable new K–8 school dedicated to supporting neurodivergent students, especially those with autism.
Why This Matters
Polaris Academy offers a truly innovative learning environment, blending academics with practical life skills. A standout feature is the culinary kitchen, where students apply math, reading, and science through food prep and cooking. Encouraging hands-on learning, independence, and confidence.
TLW’s Contribution
TLW was proud to support Polaris Academy’s mission by donating every essential element for their culinary lab:
- Full suite of kitchen appliances
- Classroom-ready furniture perfectly suited for students
- A fully functional space where students can learn academic principles via recipes and cooking
